Name explanation

Name Explanation
I have been thinking that I should make some way to mass communicate with everyone, just in case any of you out there want to know what I am up to on a daily or monthly basis. So here is a blog…not very original but I thought it would be better than a mass email.
So the web address does have somewhat of a story behind it and I thought I would start there. JBB stands for Joint Base Bahlad and the orders that the army gave me say that I own them 400 days of active duty time. Granted it more than likely will not be 400 days, but we all tell each other otherwise and our count down here at Ft. Hood started at 400. So that means that we are now at approximately 391 days.
As for what I am doing right now…well not a whole lot. We are North Fort Hood and we are mobilizing, which means we have to go through lots of classes and fill out lots of paperwork before we can board a plane to go across the pond. We have been here since Wednesday and I have managed to sit in a lot of long lines waiting to be seen by doctors, people who handle finances, and people that issue out clothes. It is humid and hot, and generally we are all pretty miserable but I honestly I have been keeping a positive attitude about it, because if I was not here I would be jobless.
Tomorrow, I have no idea what is in store for us. We have been officially picked up by the training brigade (so that means our training of weapons, what to do if your HMMV rolls over, etc.) should start tomorrow, but I have my doubts.
If time permits I will post again tomorrow, but the computer room closes at 10 pm and there are approximately 900 soldiers and about 40 computers.
